About the only folks who use our outside phone box (not a booth) are homeless folks. Most people (even kids) seem to have cell phones these days. --- Back during our construction project of 2002-04, the phone boxes in our lobby areas were eliminated and only one was left behind. We had no complaints. Since then, we have had greater incidence of cell phone use. If we got rid of that last outside coin op phone, it might cause some complaints, however.

Subject: [Publib] ADA phonebooth
Hi
We have a fabulous older circular phonebook with a round door that slides around. Stylish and it helps with noise. However it is not ADA accessible.
I was wondering if anyone had ADA accessible phonebooths. If so, could you send send me images of it.
Have any of you chosen to not have a public phonebooth because of difficulty making it ADA accessible. What was the public reaction to the removal of your phone booth?
Thank you
Elizabeth
