[Publib] Religious school/public library partnership question

We have been approached by a nondenominational Christian school about
the possibility of opening their school library to the public after
school hours. They are located in a community where they are one of the
only public buildings, and we currently serve that area with bookmobile
service. There is a need for more public library service there but we
do not have the funding to provide a branch with more hours than the
bookmobile.
I have met with school staff and there are many barriers to this as a
possibility for both of us. I'm wondering if anyone out there is
currently doing ANY kind of partnership with a religious school on their
premises, including programming and outreach. I'm well aware of the
potential problems in doing this, such as we are a secular institution,
school/public library issues, potential censorship, access to the
building by unusual members of the community, possible Internet issues,
etc and am NOT looking for lectures or advice in those areas. I'm
just trying to figure out if anyone else is out there doing anything
like this and what it looks like from your end.
Thanks in advance.
Carolyn
