[Publib] Receiving "Cold" Resumes?

At times a "cold" c.v. has made me say, "I don't have a job here, but I have
heard of jobs at _____." It depends on the quality of the c.v. and the cover
letter.

I don't think they hurt, in most cases. "Ya never know."
