Hi Karen and all-

I'm using gmail too, it organizes my mail and keeps all my mail in order
until I can find time for it.  I also have a facebook account.   I try (that
is TRY) to keep current in cyberspace.  Some of the tools I've used are one
time things just to get the sense of them, and some are more fun, like
library thing and facebook - content oriented and personal.  I have been
doing this noodling around for years, since my library degree predates most
of the neat stuff.  I know Karen really understands all these tools on a
much more sophisticated level than I do, but we all should try to become at
least conversant with them.

As for the gathering at ALA -I'll be gone by Monday morning, so I can't see
you all at the PLA award ceremony.  I'll be thinking about you all as I fly
east, tho.
