I think "google yourself" is a generic term, like 
kleenex and bandaid. I never liked the phrase 
"ego search", not least because it makes an 
awkward verb. :-) If I were searching for myself 
in a library catalog (which only barely might 
work, but it might), I probably would think of it as 'googling myself'.

(And yes, the cuil folks need to tweak their 
algorithms, especially the one that pulls in images.)
