[Publib] Blogging policies

I mean... yeah... its true... but isn't that exactly whats going on at
librarian.net or the shifted librarian or any number of librarian blogs as
well?  with people's comments and whatnot?

I don't blog on the job... and I do think that the differing viewpoints and
the knowledge sharing on here is GREAT.  But is there any really fundamental
difference between sharing our viewpoints on an email list vs. a blog, or
perhaps a forum like ULC2020?  I just don't see it... is it that this
listserv is hosted by webjunction?  Is it the number of subscribers?

In all seriousness if there is a public library system out there with a
formal policy about blogging I'd love to see it.
