Although with all the great advice I've received, I should be able to GIVE the program! :-)

 

Thanks very much to everyone who has sent me something, suggested something, called me on the phone, offered their expertise! Some of the simplest most obvious suggestions ended up being a "duh" moment. Like take the new member on a tour of the library! Who knew? All of your suggestions have been so great and I have not responded to all of you personally, but I will. I have a huge book sale to set up for tomorrow and then I'll be free to start putting all your suggestions into practice! Thanks again!!!

Hi, folks -

 

Based on all the messages in the Board Orientation thread, what would you all think about a conference program on the subject?   I am the PLA representative to the ALTA Board.  They've been talking about submitting a program proposal for the PLA Conference in 2010.
