[Publib] DVD/CD repair machines

We pay $1 per disk to have then cleaned and buffed at our local Game Stop/Hollywood Video store. Maybe it seems like a lot, but they do an awesome job of cleaning disks that look really nasty. HTH!

Hello,

 

Our old (cheap) CD/DVD resurfacing machine has finally died.  The one we used is no longer availble.  In looking for a replacement I have found two products that look interesting the Disc and Go ( www.discgotech.com <http://www.discgotech.com/> ) and the Fix A Disc system (www.fixadisc.com <http://www.fixadisc.com/> ).  

 

Has anyone used either of these products?

 

Does it work for you?  Would you recommend it to another Library system?

 

About how many discs does the system repair before needing new supplies?

 

What is the good, the bad, and the ugly associated with this system?

 

If you have not used one of these products what do you use?

 

All help is appreciated.
