Anne,
I have to ask - did they like having the questions up front?

Subject: [Publib] Book Club etiquette/concerns
I once moderated a Mother/teenaged Daughter book group, and I prepared
questions and distributed them to the group. Then whenever the conversation
wound down or drifted off course, any member would bring up another question
(not necessarily the next one on the list), and off we would go again. This
way I wasn't the cop, and everyone felt like they could steer the group
somewhat.
