THE POSITION

The City of Folsom is seeking a strong and innovative Library Supervisor
with knowledge of current automation technology and trends; to supervise
and function as lead in a fast-paced, innovative team environment. The
successful candidate will supervise both the staff and operations of a
joint use high school/public library branch including circulation,
reference, youth services and programming activities, and one or more
assigned units of the library system such as collection development or
reference services. This position reports to the library director.

 

The City of Folsom opened a new 24,000 sq.ft. library building in
February of 2007. A new 13,000 sq. ft. joint use facility opens this
Spring. A third branch is planned for 3-5 years. The library boasts
great community support and is eager to support new ideas and creative
vision. Folsom is a great place to work and play.
