I subscribe to Fresh Press, a daily email.  
 
 "Fresh Press monitors more than 50 nationally broadcast television and
radio programs and delivers a comprehensive listing of the featured books
and authors in a daily newsletter."

It may not be complete coverage, but it definitely helps with those patrons
who say "I saw this book on the Today Show this morning, I think it was
green?"
 
I also like Shelf Awareness, which I think is geared more towards
booksellers, but still has good information.  Every morning they give you a
list of which author is scheduled on which show, and they also provide the
upcoming weekend schedule on BookTV. They do have an inordinate amount of
ads in each email, but it's easy enough to scroll past - the media stuff is
usually stuck in the middle of each email, sandwiched by giant ads.  But

I vaguely recall a thread months ago (could even have been another list, so
I apologize).of a source that compiled books being promoted on various media
sources (authors/promotions on websites, news stations, talk shows, etc.)
that would help libraries in keeping current with what might be the next 'in
demand' non-bestseller. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thanks in
advance!
