[Publib] Annotated road list (Kathyrn Knight)

I want to congratulate Kathryn Knight on the superb annotations that she has added to the first 60-70 titles of books with an "on the road" theme.  She has made me want to read or reread some of these books and that is really the purpose of an annotation on a library reading list or should be on any reading list.
   
  You did a great job of enlivening the classics. I was particularly happy to see the quotation from Candide because it was a favorite of my late sister.  Whenever she, or I, or any of our friends would encounter difficulties in our professional lives about which we could do nothing, she would say that "we must cultivate our garden."  She might have inserted "own" before garden.
   
  I have printed out your annotation list for my own personal use.  Thank you for the collection of these titles.  Kathleen Hegarty
