We don't have a written policy about how much help the librarians can
provide the patrons.
As others have responded, we also provide assistance for brief general
questions and not for extensive help. We'll refer patrons with questions
about typing resumes and cover letters to materials in the Business &
Technology Division.
Same goes for personal stuff. For example, I'll get patrons started on how
to find company websites for online job applications but the rest they have
to do on their own.
