The Association for Rural and Small Libraries 2008 conference will be
held in Sacramento, California on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September
19, 20 and 21. Mark your calendars. More information will be released
soon.
We are now seeking applications for 15 one hour presentations during the
conference. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, fill out
the following form:

Conference Proposal Form
The Association for Rural and Small Libraries is now accepting proposals
for conference programs for the annual conference September 19-21, 2008
in Sacramento, California.
All proposals will be reviewed by the ARSL Conference Program Committee.
Program proposals that are accepted will be expected to deliver the
program twice during the conference. Winning proposals will receive
registration (at member rate so will need to join ARSL if you have not
already) and hotel accommodations for up to three nights for ONE person.
There might be additional funds available for travel in special need
cases (see #6 below).
The deadline for submitting this form is February 7, 2008. To fill out
this form, save it to your desktop, fill it out and save it.
Handwritten applications will not be accepted. Then send an email to
rchenoweth at alliancelibrarysystem.com with the completed form sent as an
attachment. Send questions to the same email address.

Rooms will be set theater style (rows of chairs facing a head table),
