[Publib] Overdue notice language

Language is tough to get right. I like the intent of the notices - to give
the notices a human voice - but I think they need fine-tuning. I too did not
find them hostile yet people can take umbrage at all kinds of things... and
we really don't want that. I had a separate concern: the first one is so
jocular that it may set the wrong tone, because message #3 certainly means
business. You can keep some of the first person plural and conversational
tone... but tweak perhaps? I also agree this is one place where the passive
voice ("mistakes were made") can actually be quite useful... nobody gets
blamed.

For example, just as an idea: "Our records show that the following items
aren't checked in to the library system: ......... We'd really like to be
able to share these books with others. If the mistake is on our end, please
let us know by [method of contact]."
