[Publib] ... personal or family treasures that are never going to the Friends of the Library or on eBay

My Forever Amber has a note on the flyleaf that it was banned in Boston.
I know that she told me that no Boston bluenose was going to tell HER
what to read, so she got on a train in Springfield, got off at Grand
Central Station, walked into the first bookstore she saw, bought a copy,
and got on the train home. That book stays with me as long as I'm on the
planet.

Personal treasure: My grandfather's 9th edition of the Encyclopedia
Brittanica. The newspapers my mother saved announcing the death of
George VI . Home improvement manuals from the 1940s authored by my
grandfather.
Anything and everything by Charles Schulz.
