--Amy Paget

Library directors and human resources staff, please note that the
deadline for participating in the 2008 ALA-APA Library Salary Survey is
next week, Friday, Feb. 29. The survey only asks for salary data for
six librarian titles. The survey website is
http://www.hrsource.org/images/mail/ala.html. If you'd like to know
whether your library was included in the sample, please call
1-800-448-4584 and ask for Jean Hannon or Kristy Williams. This survey
provides valuable information for the library community. All responding
libraries receive 30-day access to the Library Salary Database, with
librarian and non-MLS salary data from 2006 through the present.
Contact the ALA-APA office if you have questions at 1-800-545-2433,
x2424 or jgrady at ala.org.
