[Publib] Are you using GIS?

We have used GIS software to develop maps and extract population statistics
for specific libraries.  We have been using ArcGIS software.  We have also
made use of the Public Library Geographic Database -
http://www.geolib.org/PLGDB.cfm -which has a lot of the information that can
be extracted using the complicated ArcGIS software without quite as much
fuss.
