Both are 40 hour positions. One focuses on Youth, the other Adult Services.

Position 1:

PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIP (including housing)
Natrona County Public Library
Casper, Wyoming

Making plans for summer?  Spend eight (8) to twelve (12) weeks
(June-August) acquiring first-rate professional experience while exploring
Wyoming.  

We are seeking a creative and energetic team player with strong customer
service experience to assist in providing proactive library services to
Natrona County residents. 

This position is designed to introduce the intern to all aspects of a
public library Youth Service Department. Duties will include working with
children and teens during the summer reading program, helping plan and run
programs, and provide library services to patrons.


Position 2:

Natrona County residents. This position is designed to introduce the
intern to all aspects of public library service, focusing on Adult and
Reference Services.

About us – Casper is the second-largest city in Wyoming. Historic Oregon
Trail, rodeos, fishing, theater, symphony, access to outdoors, bandwidth,
and 10-minute commute in this 60,000-person community. The largest mall in
central Wyoming and a vigorous downtown host plentiful restaurants and a
diverse blend of shops.  Proximity to the Tetons, Yellowstone, and the
Black Hills.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor's degree plus enrollment in an
accredited MLS program. Recent graduates seeking professional experience
or students desiring fieldwork for credit will also be considered.

Stipend: $10/hr PLUS housing.  

Application: Priority given to responses received by April 1, 2008. Final
decision will be made on or before April 15, 2008.
