The Washington State Library is currently seeking applicants for three

Statewide Training Coordinator, Washington State Library

 

The Office of the Secretary of State, Washington State Library is
recruiting for one permanent Statewide Training Coordinator (Library and
Archival Professional 4).  

 

This position oversees the Continuing Education grant program and
certification of librarians in Washington State. It fosters the
professional growth of Washington library staff through provision of
training in leading edge library topics. The Statewide Training
Coordinator is a strategic, policy position at the Washington State
Library and resides within the Library Development program.

 

Five year's experience as a degreed librarian is required. Two year's
experience as a trainer is desired. See the full announcement for all

Online Resources Consultant (VRS/Databases), Washington State Library

 

The Washington State Library Division of The Office of the Secretary of
State is recruiting for one permanent Online Resources Consultant
(Library & Archival Professional 2 in-training to Library & Archival
Professional 3).

The person in this position works within the Library Development Program
and supports the program's mission to improve and enhance library

requires a minimum of one year of experience as a professional librarian
or its equivalent and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Desired qualifications include knowledge of current practices and issues
in virtual reference and other electronic based resources.

Technology Consultant, Washington State Library

 

The Office of the Secretary of State, Washington State Library is
recruiting for one permanent Technology Consultant (Information
Technology Specialist 2 in training to Information Technology Specialist
3).  

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, and collaborative person to
serve as a resource to individual libraries statewide on a wide range of
IT related issues. The Technology Consultant will provide help desk
services to libraries across the State, consultancy on information
technology and the federal E-Rate program, server administration for
centralized services to libraries and IT support for Library Service and
Technology Act (LSTA) funded initiatives and projects. Under general
supervision and using established work methods and procedures, the
incumbent will analyze technology needs, consult with external customers
and in-house staff, arrive at solutions, and make insightful
recommendations.
