Cataloger, Librarian I
 
Under general supervision, manages and performs a wide variety of bibliographic and database maintenance duties and projects, analyzing/resolving complex cataloging problems including correcting headings and resolving holdings.  Work involves professional library work to include independently rendering the services provided for children.  Work also involves developing and maintaining the libraries collection and assisting with questions and/or problems regarding resources and reference material.  Additionally, employee will perform reference and reader's advisory services, tasks at the circulation desk, and assist the supervisor in the maintenance of branch collection.
 
Education/Experience:
Master's Degree in Library Science, OCLC and cataloging experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
