We got our new flip-up shelving within these two months. It was retro
fitted into the bookcase. The side which faces the street contains all
our magazines and major regional newspapers. We keep the old recent
magazines underneath and keep a week's worth of papers before they're
tossed. The "New York Times" stays for a month until the microfiche
arrives. It's worked nicely.

For our blind and visually-impaired patrons who need periodical
materials in Braille, they can go to our Adaptive Services Division.
