Check out our delicious account for staff desk use at http://delicious.com/IndependenceRegionalLibrary. The easiest way for staff to keep up with it is to have it posted on our branch page at http://plcmc.org/Locations/branches.asp?id=10. That way we can refer the public to it whenever they are interested.
This delicious account is largely the work of Christie Buchanan-Wellmon, one of our crackerjack librarians. Christie had tried a number of ways to keep up with bookmarks on multiple staff PCs that are re-imaged on a regular schedule. This was the solution.

Subject: [Publib] del.icio.us use at the Reference Desk
All,
First let me say this is not a library school assignment, but an actual work related project. I am interested to know how many of you who are Reference Librarians are using del.icio.us at the Reference Desk? Do you have a link on your library's website to your del.icio.us tags or are you strictly using it at the desk as a way to find favorite reference sites? A search of the archives has produced very little in the way of helpful information about the use of del.icio.us. So far my colleague with whom I am working on this project has networked with a few of you, but I'm sure there are more libraries out there that we haven't connected with. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jennie Kemp
