[Publib] Phone PC booking requests

Hi everyone, and happy holidays from the frozen north, where it's
currently -25 Celsius outside, -35 with the wind chill! (That's -13 and
-31 Fahrenheit, respectively. Yes, I live here voluntarily... but days
like this can make me wonder why.)
I have some public PC management questions, aimed at libraries who have
workstation management software that customers can use to pre-book
workstations:
Do you accept workstation booking requests from customers by telephone?
If so, how do you handle them? Do you promote the service? What kind of
demand is there for it?
We use Library Online for workstation and print management, and have
historically not accepted phone bookings due to fears of the impact they
might have on staff workflow... but are considering loosening up our
approach.
Any and all responses are much appreciated!
Regards,
Adrienne
