Yes,
Zoomtext software is a wonderful program. I purchased it some time back when I worked in IT, for our public computers. We had it on two workstations in our main library and one at each of our branch locations. It has an excellent voice synthesizer (you can change the speed and tone) and quite a lot of functionality. I was very impressed and so were my visually impaired patrons. I purchased ZoomText through Universal Low Vision Aids, Inc. The website is www.ulva.com. The customer service was excellent.
Good Luck.

That should be for replacing JAWS, not Dragon Naturally Speaking. My

Since we've moved out of the reference question category - my favorite is when they ask "Do you know where the restrooms are?" Instead of "Where are the restrooms?" I'm always tempted to answer You know, I've worked here for 5 years and I still hold it all day because I've never been able to find the bathroom...LOL!

I was working behind a service desk typing my behind off trying to make some progress with a spreedsheet I continuosly plug information into, a patron walks by several times, then finally comes back to the desk I was working at and said "Do you work here?" Unfortunately, that has happened more than once.
