[Publib] Combining departments

Hello everyone,
We have two managers retiring within the next 6-9 months. One is Circulation Services and one is Tech Services. Awhile back, someone posted to PUBLIB about combining these two manager positions into one. This seems like an ideal time to explore this idea. If you've done this please let me know if it worked or not and if you would do it all over again given the chance.
