That sort of happened to me when a college student came in and said she
just *knew* that none of us had ever heard of this artist, but she still
wanted to know if we had any books on him.

Very cool student:

"His name is Escher."

Me:

"M.C. Escher? I'd be very surprised if we *didn't* have any books on
him."

Me: (watches student deflate and giggles inwardly)
