[Publib] ...and the hydrox wars

If you-all are asking me--and as one-half of the mods, I suppose you are --
there was  discussion about off-topic humor but I do not recall any new
policy about it. One outcome of the discussion was a reminder that Friday
has always been an "OT Day" to begin with. Another was that if you subscribe
to PUBLIB with Gmail the threading is excellent and you can follow or not
follow threads with impunity (or with Hydrox cookies, both work equally
well).

Does that help? Maybe Joe wants to blog anyway. Shouldn't we encourage that?
