We just require the stub as documentation and not the jury duty pay (which is not much). The quote below is from our Personnel Policy.
Jim Casey,
Director
Oak Lawn Public Library
506 JURY DUTY AND COURT APPEARANCE
When an employee is required to serve as juror, the library shall continue to pay the employee's regular salary or regularly scheduled hours. The employee should notify his/her supervisor of the need for jury duty in accordance with established leave request procedures and should provide check stubs from each daily check received as juror compensation for payroll records. (Submission of Leave Request required.) If prior approval is not obtained, and the daily check stubs are not submitted, the jury duty leave may be deducted from the employee's paycheck as leave without pay.
When an employee is required to serve under subpoena as a witness in a court proceeding except when the subpoena is related to library business, personal days or vacation time must be used.

Subject: [Publib] Jury Duty
I'm curious about your policies when employees are summoned for jury duty. If you offer paid leave for jury duty, do you require them to repay their jury duty pay to the library to compensate, or do you allow them to "double-dip", so to speak, by keeping both jury and library pay?
