[Publib] Books and Kindle

I dig the smell of attic in my books. Makes me feel rustic - and asthmatic. 
However, as Seth Godin was quoted in "The 21st Century Writer" (The 
Futurist), "books are becoming souvenirs!" I want a Kindle - but I want it 
cheaply.

If I have to buy batteries for it; if I can't get sand, sea water,
sunscreen, barbecue or tartar sauce on it; if it weighs enough that if I
go to sleep reading it it might close my windpipe forever, I don't want
it. And if that be Luddism, make the most of it.
