Executive Director, Indiana Library Federation

 

The Indiana Library Federation (ILF) seeks an experienced, energetic,
future-focused executive director to provide creative leadership in a time
of change both for the members of ILF and the broader profession.  The
Federation – with more than 3,000 personal, institutional, and library
trustee members and an annual balanced budget of nearly $1,000,000 – wants a
dynamic individual who can work with diverse groups, help strengthen
existing strategic alliances, and develop new partnerships within the state.
Working with a dedicated team of elected and volunteer Federation leaders
and a full-time office staff of three, the Executive Director will provide
support for the Board, work to implement the strategic plan, hold proven
fund-raising skills, increase membership, advocate for library services
statewide, and promote services to our members.  Minimum requirements:  5
years of experience with 2 years experience at a senior level in library or
not-for-profit association management and bachelor’s degree (graduate degree
