The local university does have listening stations in their fine arts library
for music students. Last time I was there, it was not possible to copy any
of the music onto any type of storage device.

If by "music lab" that person meant an audio editing studio - hoo boy, are
they only going to edit their own original audio files? I can see a
copyright nightmare happening...

On the other hand, our new expanded branch here will eventually have a video
editing studio.
