Philip, to me that sounds more like a very different phenomenon.  Unfortunately, I seem to suffer from that one too!

Well, mixing Latin and Greek would be like mixing metaphors. 

But since on some levels it is the ‘reading’ that is interrupted, I don’t think it is unreasonable word use. It’s been almost 25 years since I read Latin (B.A., which is why I went to library school….), but if you had asked me, I would have said that a really coarse translation of biblio interruptus was book interrupted.

And in Latin the noun (nominative case as subject of a sentence) comes first, so it would be liber interruptus, but I’m not sure that interruptus is the correct gerundive (help me out here grammar obsessed English majors) form. No Latin grammar handy.

Back to the strategic plan…thanks for the interlude.
