Our library has a policy on children in the library. It basically states
that staff shall not be responsible for children in the library, and if
an adult cannot be found the police may be called.

Subject: [Publib] Children of internet users
Does anybody have a policy that deals with internet users who
bring their children with them to the library?
We're seeing that, typically, the adult unrealistically expects
the child (anywhere from infant to several years old) to sit silently
next to them while they use the computer for 1-2 hrs, OR they allow the
somewhat older child to roam around the library space.
Any input would be appreciated.
