[Publib] How can I remove my name from publishers lists?

Dear Colleagues:
 
Since I am in Circ/ILL, I don't order books.  Almost daily I get publishers catalogs and brochures. How can I get my name & address removed from all of the various publishers' mailing lists?
 
I started calling each publisher, but then was told by Facts on File (?) that they hire a company to send out their mailings.  Any ideas on how to contact those "mailing" companies so that I can be removed?
 
Just trying to be 'green'...
