Su, that has been studied (by the Chapter/Member Relations Office).  The report was that it cannot be done--I believe that the reason was that people work for all manner of jurisdictions.....Maybe Michael Golrick recalls the complete details; or you can ask Michael Dowling (mdowling at ala.org<mailto:mdowling at ala.org>) who is the director of chapter/member relations.

For those active in ALA and those seeking election, I’d like to put forth the request that the ALA expand its offerings of insurance  to include a group health care plan.  (Not disability, not long term, but regular old, every day medical insurance.)
