NEW Book Arts Workshop with Bea Nettles at the University of Illinois 

TITLE: Decorative Box with Bone Clasp 

Come and learn how to put together a decorative box. The basics of measuring and constructing a box will be taught, as will covering one inside and out. Students will learn how to attach ribbon ties and make a loop for a small bone clasp. Properties of paper, bookcloth, adhesives will be introduced. No prior experience needed. Open to all interested in the book arts. 

Date: Saturday, April 12, 2008  Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 
Location: Facilities & Services Printing Department 54 E Gregory Street, Champaign, IL 

Cost: $109 includes fee for materials ($99 for GSLIS students, staff, alumni, and previous Book Arts workshop attendees)
