[Publib] Wrock concerts at your library?

We have had an outside concert for the past two years for Teen Read Week. The first year we had one band play and the second year we had a battle of the bands. Our concert was held on the library's front covered porch area with the parking lot roped off for the audience. I don't believe we checked on any liability issues, but I could be wrong. We did try to notify neighbors and the police of the possible noise level. Our biggest issue was making sure we had all the sound equipment. But we have had great volunteers in helping with that. And we always make sure we have enough staff and volunteers outside with the kids and inside controlling the kids going in and out and in and out. We've never had any major problems yet, we've had a neighbor complain about the noise once, but I believe our concert was over with around 8 or thereabouts. Overall it has been a great experience.
