I am using AVG as well. They seem to be good. I use it on our server for our thin clients and all individual pc's. Of course, if I don't renew our subscription today we might be in trouble. ;-)

=============
For Connie Terry:

I started work at my library in July as a tech guy. All of the PC's were on
Norton's Anti-Virus at the time. I haven't been a fan of the product for
several years due to it being a bit of a system hog. I am in the process of
setting up 9 new laptops, which they've allowed me to equip with AVG
Anti-Virus. I've been a user of the AVG free program on my personal machines
for quite some time. Unlike Norton, it's an extremely unobtrusive program.
It updates every day, scans fast, and doesn't hog every ounce of power your
system has. Subscriptions are also much cheaper with the Professional
edition. A two year subscription to AVG is slightly less expensive than a
one-year to Nortons. I think we'll be switching out our other machines once
the current virus update subscriptions expire.

If you are interested, you can download the free version and get information
at http://www.grisoft.com/. They also have links to buy the Professional
edition. I haven't tried their firewall and spam stuff, but I'm sure it's
quality.

Wes
