Depending on your library outreach focus, here are two fall conferences not to miss! Not too late to register! See you there!!!

The Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services (ABOS) conference
October 3-5, 2007
St. Louis, MO
http://www.abos-outreach.org/annual_conference.htm

No matter the size of your library, if you're delivering services to children (and schools) thru older adults, via bookmobiles, OR to multiple populations through library outreach programs, this conference addresses those issues in a clearly articulated format, at an inexpensive rate. There is still time for your staff to participate, especially those who provide front-line services, i.e. directors, managers and supervisors, drivers, clerks, etc. Great content for who staff development opportunities.

The Association of Rural and Small Libraries (ARSL) conference
September 26-28, 2007
Columbus, OH
http://jupiter.clarion.edu/~csrl/great.htm

Rural library services are a special focus of this conference which addresses the concerns of rural and small library staff and library services. Lots of opportunities to discuss growing challenges for rural libraries and communities to multiple populations. Still time to register at a reasonable rate with assured good content and opportunities to network with like staff.
