Ours barely hold up to in library use, they'd certainly never survive
circulating. A couple of years ago we began a Magazine Exchange Day the
first Saturday of every month. Any magazines we have removed from our
collection over the past month and any others want to bring in that day
are place on tables by category in our meeting room. Patrons can take or
leave whatever they want. The room is manned by volunteers all day. At
the end of the day, whatever is left goes to the recycle bin. It has
become very popular. We had 100 people come through the one this month.
