Jennifer,

I have been putting together book discussion kits (we call the
collection "Book Club to Go") for the last four years. I use discussion
questions from websites such as Readinggroupguides.com and
Readinggroupchoices.com. I add my own description of the book and a
short paragraph of the author along with article citations.

Twelve copies of the book and the booklet with the above mention
information are put in a bag tagged with a luggage tag with a barcode
for check out for eight weeks. Customers can schedule them up to a year
in advance.

If you want any copies of what our booklet looks like and our procedures
let e-mail me off list.

Good luck.

Hello, everyone!

I would like to ask a question regarding circulating book discussion

kits (books, discussion questions, etc.). Have any of you had experience

with a company called "Book Club in a Box"? Can you recommend other

sources? Do you create your own book discussion kits in-house?

We are considering beginning a collection to support our growing book

discussion community, and would like to hear about the experiences of

other libraries.

Thanks in advance!
