[Publib] Website Design

Greetings,

I think the idea that you can manage a site without
any html knowledge is a bit farfetched. That would
be like publishing a book without understanding some
basic rules of grammar. Me think idea not good.

I love Microsoft Expression. It is a wonderful tool.
It incorporates what I like about Dreamweaver with the
elements that I liked about FrontPage. It is great for
commercial design and large site management - and
it plays well with the other Microsoft products.

A free trial download is available here:

I think that you can find a solution in the plethora of capable free
and open source content management systems available for download.
Libraries have built excellent sites around Drupal, Joomla, and even
blogging software like Wordpress. These tools allow you to build and
maintain your site without any HTML knowledge, and don't require
external software like Dreamweaver or ExpressionWeb (nee Frontpage).

My company provides training, customization, support and hosting for
the Drupal CMS in our LibrarytSite offering, but if you don't need
the help, you can download and use the software for free. Drupal is
easy to install, database driven (also free), and very easy to backup.
