Greetings -
If the OPACs code includes a cell phone/pda option
by design, you would not need to purchase any
additional device. You could use a cell phone
or any other device with internet access to
search the PAC. So could any of your patrons.

Subject: [Publib] PocketCirc for SirsiDynix
Hi all,
Our library is considering purchasing PocketCirc or some other PDA to use
when weeding, pulling holds, etc. Are there any libraries out there that
are currently using either PocketCirc or some other kind of PDA in order to
use their catalog while in the stacks? We'd love any feedback anyone has
about the device that they are using and the pros and cons they have
discovered. Since we're looking at PocketCirc we're obviously using
SirsiDynix so we need something that syncs with that.
Thanks in advance!
