My advice - take a broad range of classes. I would take a cataloging class. Do not limit yourself if you are not sure what you want to do. When I got my MLIS, I took classes covering a wide range of things - childrens lit, reference, readers advisery, collection development, and web design (to name a few). I am glad I did. Now I have a taste of what goes on in several areas of the library.
