And before you let the euphoria set it...it only applies to DIRECT
loans.  If you used someone like Sallie Mae it won't cover your loans.
It also appears that you have to be on a 10 year repayment plan.  For a
moment I was ever hopeful that I would benefit from this and in 10 years
with diligent payments my 75K+ (140K when I have paid them off in 30
years) student loans would be forgiven.  But they won't so I will be
using my city pension to pay for them :)
