I wonder if this would mean that future loans could be forgiven. This would
definitely encourage me to go back to school to complete a second master's
degree.
Also, for those that are making payments, you may consider applying for a
forbearance. If your payments are greater than or equal to 20% of your total
monthly gross income, you may be eligible for a forbearance. This is
information from the Direct Loan website.
