Grapevine Public Library proctors exams for students. We charge $5 a sitting and allow te student to take as many as they wish at that sitting. We usually put the student where a librarian can see them and monitor the time. It works well for us and is a good added service that generates a little revenue.

Does any library have a policy concerning the proctoring of college exams? We have
recently been asked by students --- working both online and in priint formats ---
to proctor their exams. As we are a small-size library, there are limitations
concerning staff availablity at times, cost issues, etc. If any one has any
information or policy formats that they would be willing to share, it would be
greatly appreciated!! Thank you. Linda
