[Publib] Filtering Personal Laptops

We recently installed wireless Internet in our library and I have some
questions..  I'm interested in if libraries filter their user's personal
equipment?  Do you have issues from filtering/not filtering Internet?
If filtered, can you easily disable the filter when requested by a
patron?  Which filtering package do you use? 

Also, do you loan laptops to the public for use within the library?
What are your policies/guidelines regarding the loan.
