This past weekend the Muskego Public Library (Muskego, Wisconsin) hosted the 3rd annual Murder and Mayhem in Muskego in conjunction with Crimespree Magazine and Mystery One Bookshop (both of Milwaukee).  

Among this year's featured authors were Robert Crais and Laura Lippman.  The library's website promises a writeup/photos of this year's event soon bu there is an "Ask a Librarian" link which you could use to contact the librarian and find out more about organizing the event:
